About Me

Welcome to Spanish class!  My name is Jane Guinn.  I am excited to be a member of the Sequoyah High School community. Go Chiefs!!

 

I have a M.A. in Education from the University of California, Berkeley.  I was a member of Cohort 5 of the Principal Leadership Academy from 2004 - 2006 at U.C. Berkeley.  I have a B.A. in Spanish: Language and Linguistics from California State University, Long Beach. 

 

I have been teaching for since 1997.  The majority of my experience was in Northern California. I have taught everything from Spanish 1 to Advanced Placement and Spanish for Spanish Speakers.  I enjoy what I do and love sharing my knowledge of the language with students.  It's a great feeling to watch them as they develop the skills to become proficient in the language.
