2.  Students you must sign up on your own during class time.  Do not email me asking me to sign up for you!! Sign ups will begin on Monday, May 3, 2021.  It is first come first serve.  I would like to see all biomes represented per class period.  There will be exceptions with some of my larger classes.  In the larger classes only 2 people will be able to represent biomes.  So please plan and think ahead.  Have a first, second, and third choice in mind in case someone gets your idea first.

View variety of preset slides with varying types of cells under microscope.
Sketch in color and detail what you viewed, title of slide spelled correctly, magnification, verbal description of slide including cellular structures, that you are familiar with at this point (organelles), and cell types (multicellular, unicellular, prokaryote, eukaryote). You will also be required to do some research (webquest) as well. Please bring coloring pencils to class. No hi lighters or markers or colored pens for microscope slide sketch! Lab reports are entered as exams and projects in skyward and therefore worth 40%. Hard copies will be given in class. Students will be required to wipe down ocular pieces after each use and wear gloves. Inappropriate behaviors and horseplay will result in a zero for the lab and office written referral. This includes wasting lab materials; such as blowing up protective gloves!
