As the end of the school year is drawing near, so is Chromebook collection at the schools. This is a friendly reminder to prevent any fees from being incurred, make sure your student has their Chromebook, charger, and case clean and ready to turn in to their school's tech lead on the date the tech lead has set for their Chromebook collection.
In reference to fees that occur, we wanted to take a moment and explain what fees may be placed and why.
A fee for a lost Chromebook, charger, and/or case will be applied if a student has lost any of these items. A fee for cosmetic damage will be applied in the event of the Chromebook being damaged by a student drawing/coloring on the device that can not be removed as well as placing stickers on the device that are not able to be removed.
Also, chargers must be the chargers issued by Monroe County Schools, any chargers bought from outside sources may damage the Chromebook itself.
We want to thank you all for your help and understanding!
