Any student that will be in 5th through 12th grade during the upcoming 23-24 school year can have their Chromebook picked up at their school as per the below schedule. To be eligible to pick up their student's Chromebook, a parent must:
- Sign the 23-24 MCS Chromebook Agreement
- Pay the annual $35 Technology Fee
- Pay any outstanding fees from the previous school year
The 23-24 MCS Chromebook Agreement can signed online by following the link here, and entering your child's Student ID number.
The annual $35 Technology Fee, and any outstanding fees, can be paid using the MyPaymentsPlus platform. This platform is the same platform used for MCS Cafeteria lunch fees and transactions. You can sign in, or register an account here.
The agreement can be signed and the fee(s) can be paid in-person on the day of each school's rollout, however, by signing and paying online beforehand you can skip most of the lines on the day of the rollout, so we strongly encourage everyone to sign and pay online if at all possible!
Please note that while students in 3rd and 4th grade do get 1:1 Chromebooks, those devices stay in the classroom and are not taken home, and therefore will not be included in this rollout. Students will begin to use their 3rd and 4th grade Chromebooks once school officially begins.
