Welcome to the exciting field of Agriculture! I look forward to helping you explore topics in Agriscience, Small Animal Science, and DE Veterinary Science. We will be covering issues dealing with small and large animals such as anatomy, nutrition, diseases, parasites, and proper health care. You will also discover the many different career opportunities available in agriculture and animal science.
We are currently offering a dual enrollment veterinary science that allows students to earn 3 hours college credit in Introduction to Animal Science. We also offer seniors who have completed their veterinary and animal science focus, the opportunity to take the Tennessee Specific Industry Certification (TSIC) in Animal Science. If the student passes, they will receive an animal science certification through the state of Tennessee and an additional 3 hours college credit.
