About Me

After 25 years in the private education sector, I arrived in the classroom in 2020 ready to fulfill my lifelong dream (and bucket list item) to become a successful classroom teacher.

It's now four years later and I believe I have made a smooth transition into my second (third? fourth?) career.  I absolutely love teaching math!  More importantly, I love working with so many wonderful students who inspire me to continue improving myself personally and professionally.

I just celebrated 26 years of marriage to my wonderful wife.  I have an 20-year old daughter and a 24-year-old son who are both in college.  On the weekends and weeknights (when I'm not too tired), I love to listen to music, play electric and acoustic guitar, search endlessly for epic TV (Top Gear, Bob's Burgers, etc.) and movies (Spirited Away, Good Will Hunting, etc.), work on cars, read, and generally hang out.  More than anything, my wife and I love to travel a couple of times per year.  In the last 5 years we've hit Paris, Rome, Munich, Venice, Barcelona, Madrid, Salzburg, Florence, and the Cinque Terre National Park in Italy.
