Greetings! I'm Betsy West, an Assistant Principal here at Sequoyah High School. This is my 33rd year working for Monroe County Schools and my 3rd year as an administrator at Sequoyah. I am a life-long resident of Madisonville and K-12 product of this school district, graduating from Madisonville High School in 1988. I have one son, a Class of 2024 Chief, who represented our school on both the football team and the soccer team.
I have committed my life to teaching and caring for students here in my home county. I came to Sequoyah to make a difference and to help Dr. Parham and our faculty and staff create a school culture that our community could be proud of! I am a Chief through and through!
I want all of our students to know that I'm happy you're here! This is a great place to learn and grow. You are becoming who you are going to be, and we love getting to play a part in helping you accomplish goals you have set for yourself. Please reach out if I can be of any assistance.
