Go to Google Classroom
Click assignment
Click green Pearson Realize link at bottom
Click link 1 for th etext to read/ Click link 2 for the questions
On the text questions (It looks like Microsoft Word)
Click open button in right corner (black/grey button with white box/arrow)
Click open with- Google Docs
Type on it (Every keystroke is saved)
 
When done
Go back to assignment on Pearson/Savaas (Use Google class link if needed)
Click attach file on upper right side
Click from Google Drive
Find your file
Click it
Click blue select button at bottom
Click upper right turn in button (black)
 
It should sync your classroom and pearson to mark thingsd as done now, not missing

Attached is an introduction to the unit your student is entering. It outlines the texts, tasks, and expectations starting with in-school and quarantined instruction on September 8th. Your student will need to bring his/her new textbook to class every day. 
 
Your student's daily assignments are posted in Google Classroom regularly. This includes dates we work in class on curriculum and the dates the assignments are due. We will move quickly yet thoroughly. It is incredibly important to keep up with the material even if absent or quarantined.
 
A pdf copy of the textbook is also included on the first day of a unit just in case your student misplaces his/her book. 

Virtual Student Photos

We are trying to be sure that each virtual student has an opportunity to have their picture taken for the yearbook.
Make-up day for pictures is Wednesday, September 30th from 10:25-10:50.
You will sign in at the gym lobby and sign out when you are finished.

Please complete the following forms with your parent/guardians and return them to the school. You can email the completed forms to brooksj@monroek12.org, mail them to the school address: 3128 Hwy. 411, Madisonville, TN 37354, or drop them off to the school office during regular business hours. 2020 Parking Rules

Parking Permits are now on sale for $10
To buy one, you will need a copy of your driver's license, auto insurance, and the rules and regulation form. 
Permits can be bought-
Thursday (Sept 17) during 4th and 5th period at the school store
Tuesday (Sept. 22) By seniors after they take the ACT
Tuesday mornings frmo 7:30-8 at the school store.

Someone will be available from 4:00-8:00 each night this week and designated nights next week depending on need.

Voting on Tuesday

🏈 We will vote for Homecoming TUESDAY via Google form 🏈
The form will be active for only this day, and students will only be able to vote ONE time through their managed Google account. You must be logged into your school managed account to vote.
 
At the start of English class each period TUESDAY, go to your grade's Guidance Google Classroom. Once in that classroom, you will vote for homecoming. If you are not enrolled in Guidance's Google Classroom, add it with this code: m7ugkms
 
Virtual kids/Quarantines must go to your grade's Guidance Google Classroom on Sept. 8th. The 11th grade code is m7ugkms

9/8 Virtual Student Update

VIRTUAL LEARNING BEGINS SEPT. 8TH.

Your student MUST log into Edgenuity EACH DAY and complete work in my English course EACH DAY to be counted as present.
 
Attached is an introduction to the program your student is using, Edgenuity. It shows the essential tasks your student will need to master to be successful online. Essential Student Tasks
 
He/she will also need to use the guided notes function to keep up with work, in which a tutorial is also linked. How to Use Guided Notes
 
Virtual students should log into the Edgenuity platform through Clever. Link to Log into Clever
 
For help with Clever, see my tutorial video by the same name. Clever App
 
Once in Clever, the Edgenuity app is able to be clicked and work can begin.

SQHS Class Officer Application (1)

Attached is the student application. All items must be submitted at the same time and with your name on each piece of paper. Your student recommendations can be handwritten with your name and the name of the student recommending you on the paper. You can take a picture of the recommendation and submit it with the rest of your application via email attachment. You must have three teacher recommendations. ALL items must be submitted by Friday, Sept 11th.
