Monroe County Schools Student Directions for Accessing Clever
 
  • Clever Accounts -- your username is your student number (only the numbers) and your password is the same one you use to login to your Chromebook.

  • To access your student Google account, username is your student [email protected]. Student numbers are on your schedule and are the same as last year. 

    The default password is the first 4 letters of your first name and the first 4 digits of your birthdate. For example: Mrs. Duncan's first name is Cindy and her birthdate is August 20th. So Cind0820 would be Mrs. Duncan's password.  Please remember your password! Save it in your notes app on your phone or write it somewhere you can find it easily.

Email Mrs. Duncan directly at [email protected] if you need assistance with your Chromebook or any of your school accounts. 
 
  • If your Chromebook won't turn on, try this: Hold down the Power button and the Refresh button at the same time until the charging light flashes from orange to white then goes off. Then push the power button again to turn on. If it still won't turn on, bring it to the library so Mrs. Duncan can see what is happening with your device.
 
  • If you are getting logged out and asked to log back into sites such as Google Classroom, log out of your device then when your login screen comes back up, click the down arrow next to your name to Remove Account, then click the next button to completely remove your account from the Chromebook. You should then see a new login screen and you need to enter your school email address and password to log back in. This should refresh your device and all your apps will refresh as well. After logging in, make sure you go ahead and login to Clever when you open the Chrome browser so that all your apps will be synced and will log you in automatically after that. Clever helps keep you logged in across all your school apps so it is a good practice to always login to Clever when opening Chrome to keep things running smoothly. 
 
If you need your Skyward password reset, email Mrs. Duncan at [email protected] from your school email account. Password reset information will not be sent to any other types of email addresses.
