SQHS Student Medication Information

Students can not carry any medication on them at school, nor leave it in their vehicles. If your student needs to take medication at school, an adult will need to bring the medication to school with the required doctors form, available here This includes all over-the-counter medication (even cough drops), per T.C.A. 49-5-415.

If you have completed a clinic form, those medications are available for your student with your written permission, no doctor’s note is required, and will be stored and administered by the school’s nurse.

If any student is in possession of medication, he/she will face disciplinary action by the school administration. See the student handbook for more information.
