You may access the textbook online by my teacher page on Clever. Clicking on it will bring you to the McGraw Hill app which will take you to the textbook and other online sources. If you need to sign out a physical textbook, let me know and I'll leave one for you in the office to pick up.

Physical Science is an introductory course designed to allow students to explore the basic concepts of physics, chemistry, astronomy, and earth science. Students will be introduced to the history and nature of science and will be encouraged to explore the relationship between science and everyday life.

Below are some photos of the August 21, 2017 total solar eclipse. We were chosen by the National Science Foundation as one of the 70 sites across the country that would film the eclipse using special equipment. The video from these sites was then compiled into a movie of the eclipse documenting the incredible event as it traveled across the United States. This movie is the longest and most detailed study ever done of a total solar eclipse. Sequoyah High School is proud to have taken part in this historic scientific undertaking.
