Hi! I'm Cindy Duncan. I am a Monroe County native and grew up in Madisonville. I began my teaching career in 1998 and taught as an interim teacher in 2nd and 3rd grade at Vonore Elementary School and 8th-grade math and science at Madisonville Middle School. I became the library media specialist at MMS in 1999 before transferring to Madisonville Intermediate School's library in 2003. I transferred to Sequoyah High School as the library media specialist, tech lead, and testing coordinator in November 2021 and I am very honored to be part of the SQHS community. My husband, Steve, and I have 4 grown children, 5 grandchildren, 3 cats, and 1 dog. I love camping, traveling, spending lots of time with my family, and everything about books and technology! I'm always here to help our students, faculty, and parents with anything library or technology-related.
